Thirteen Days Enter a New Era With New Album, New Music & A Fire Like Never Seen!

South Australian rockers Thirteen Days are entering their next chapter with new music on the way and a new album launch locked in for September.

I recently caught up with THIRTEEN DAYS to talk about what’s changed since the band’s previous interview, the evolution of their sound, the new record and Paul’s role within the band.

Paul brings plenty of history with him, having previously played alongside Joel and worked on Joel’s solo material. That existing relationship has helped make his move into Thirteen Days feel natural, while the band say they’ve found a songwriting and working process where everyone can focus on their strengths.

The new material is already taking shape, with the band describing the next stage as an elevation from what they’ve done previously. Joel is also handling much of the audio engineering, while Max continues to take care of areas including social media and gigs.

The next big step comes on 26 September at the Ed Castle, where Thirteen Days will launch the new album with a show featuring dedicated lighting and sound production. Tickets are priced at $20.

The new KillerTube interview gets into the band’s past, present and future — and what happens when three musicians finally find a formula that works.

This is the gospel.

I bite crowd surfers.

Killer.
