Sheri Moon Zombie has long been a recognisable and beloved presence across horror culture, from her work on screen to her wider creative identity. With “I Love My Robot”, she expands that world into music, and the result is deliberately strange, colourful and full of character.

This is not a track trying to be too serious or over-polished. It leans into personality. It is weird in the best possible way, carrying that tongue-in-cheek spirit that has always sat at the heart of cult horror and sci-fi culture.

“I Love My Robot” plays with the idea of life in an increasingly algorithm-driven world, using its retro-futuristic energy to poke fun at the way technology continues to creep deeper into everyday life. Beneath the playful surface, though, there is a timely message about imagination, individuality and remembering to think for yourself.

That is what gives the song its bite.

It might be camp, catchy and offbeat, but there is also a real point underneath it. Technology can make life easier, but it cannot replace creativity, personality or genuine human connection.

The video brings that whole idea to life with the kind of visual flair fans would expect from something directed by Rob Zombie. The clip sits comfortably in that space between old-school sci-fi, horror theatrics and surreal pop culture weirdness, giving the single a visual identity that feels both playful and unmistakably Zombie.

Coinciding with the release, Nuclear Blast has launched pre-orders for an exclusive 12-inch picture disc featuring Sheri Moon Zombie’s “I Love My Robot” on Side A and Rob Zombie’s “Sir Lord Acid Wolfman” on Side B.

The release is limited to just 600 copies worldwide, with 500 available in the US and 100 in Europe. The one-time pressing is scheduled for release on October 30, making it a serious collector’s piece for fans of Sheri Moon Zombie, Rob Zombie and the wider Zombie creative world.
