Paleface Swiss Announce 2027 Australian Tour With Counterparts And Fox Lake

Australia is about to get flattened again.

Paleface Swiss have announced their return to Australia in January and February 2027, and this time joining the Swiss heavy music wrecking crew across the run will be Canadian metalcore legends Counterparts and Colorado heavy hitters Fox Lake, making this a lineup built for chaos, sweat, breakdowns, singalongs, stage fire and absolute pit carnage.

After selling every ticket to every show on their 2025 Australian tour, apart from Newcastle, Paleface Swiss are coming back armed with a new EP, a bigger show and two very serious special guests.

Paleface Swiss Return To Australia

Hailing from Zürich, Paleface Swiss formed in 2017 and have become one of the fastest rising forces in heavy music.

The band’s sound is built around pure impact, blending old school hardcore brutality with modern heaviness, groove, rage and emotional release. Frontman Marc “Zelli” Zellweger has become one of the most commanding vocalists in the scene, with guitarist Yannick Lehmann, bassist Tommy Lee and drummer Luigi Paraventi locking in behind him to create a sound that feels made to tear rooms apart.

Anyone who caught Paleface Swiss on their last Australian run will know exactly what is coming.

This is not a band that simply plays songs. A Paleface Swiss show feels like a shared release. Fire from the stage, bodies moving everywhere, crowd energy feeding back into the band and that powerful sense of unity that only heavy music can create when everyone in the room is completely locked in.

Speaking about the band’s return, Zelli says:

“Coming back in 2027 honestly means the world to us. We love Australia, and we can’t wait to tear these rooms apart with you again.”

That energy is already sitting under this announcement. The last run showed just how much Australian fans have connected with Paleface Swiss, and 2027 looks set to take things even further.

Counterparts Join The Australian Run

Joining Paleface Swiss are Canadian metalcore legends Counterparts.

Fronted by Brendan Murphy, one of the most recognisable and uncompromising voices in modern metalcore and hardcore, Counterparts arrive as a band who could headline these rooms in their own right.

The Hamilton, Ontario outfit have built a massive reputation through emotionally raw songwriting, technical lead guitar work, crushing hardcore breakdowns and live shows that hit with precision and heart. There is a reason Counterparts are spoken about with such respect across the heavy music world.

They have already smashed their way around Australia to sold out crowds and serious acclaim, and their inclusion on this tour gives the whole package even more weight.

Counterparts bring a different kind of heaviness to the bill. Where Paleface Swiss channel pure explosive aggression, Counterparts bring emotion, melody, tension and release, all wrapped inside the kind of metallic hardcore that cuts deep while still swinging hard live.

For fans of modern metalcore, this pairing alone is enough to make the tour unmissable.

Fox Lake Bring The Chaos

Completing the lineup are Denver, Colorado’s Fox Lake.

Formed in 2017, Fox Lake have been building serious momentum with a sound that fuses heavy riffs, hip hop influence, hardcore attitude and relentless live energy. They are the kind of band that brings movement from the first note, turning venues into walls of death, circle pits, two stepping and crowd surfing chaos.

Fox Lake bring a raw and unpredictable edge to this lineup. Their music hits with groove, bounce and aggression, but there is also a real sense of identity in the way they pull from different corners of heavy music and make it their own.

On a tour already packed with intensity, Fox Lake are the perfect opening strike.

A Tour Built For Carnage

This is one of those lineups where every band brings something different, but it all makes sense together.

Paleface Swiss bring the overwhelming force and modern heavy music dominance. Counterparts bring emotional metalcore mastery and hardcore precision. Fox Lake bring groove, bounce, chaos and attitude.

Together, it is a tour built for packed rooms, huge pits and the kind of live moments people talk about long after the lights come back on.

With Paleface Swiss returning after a sold out 2025 Australian run, Counterparts joining as one of the most respected names in modern metalcore, and Fox Lake bringing their own brand of mayhem, this 2027 tour is already shaping up as a serious one for Australian heavy music fans.
