Fleshwater Return To Australia With Ingrown And Secret World This November

Fleshwater are heading back to Australia this November, and they are bringing one hell of a heavy and atmospheric lineup with them.

The Massachusetts outfit will return for a national run alongside Idaho hardcore wrecking crew Ingrown and rising Sydney force Secret World, hitting Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth across five massive shows.

Since first emerging from the underground, Fleshwater have become one of the most talked about names in modern heavy music. Their blend of shoegaze, grunge, alternative rock and hardcore carries the haze and emotion of the 1990s while still sounding completely connected to the present.

There is beauty in their music, but there is also weight.

Heavy guitars collide with dreamlike atmosphere, vulnerable melodies and the kind of emotional pressure that sits with you long after the song has finished. Fleshwater have found that rare space where softness and impact can exist side by side without either losing its power.

Originally conceived as a side project involving members of Vein.fm, Fleshwater quickly became something much bigger. Their breakout single “Linda Claire” introduced listeners to a sound that felt nostalgic without simply living in the past, drawing from alternative rock and shoegaze while bringing in the urgency and physical force of hardcore.

Their 2022 debut album We’re Not Here To Be Loved confirmed that Fleshwater were far more than a temporary side project.

The album built the band a devoted international following and helped carry them onto stages at major festivals including Lollapalooza, Riot Fest, Sound & Fury and Sick New World. It also established Fleshwater as a band capable of reaching across different corners of heavy and alternative music without losing the identity at the heart of what they do.

The past twelve months have only pushed that momentum further.

Fleshwater released their acclaimed second album, 2000: In Search Of The Endless Sky, toured extensively with Deftones and The Mars Volta, and performed at Coachella 2026. Those are massive steps for any band, but they feel especially significant for one whose music began in the underground and grew through genuine connection rather than chasing a trend.

Now armed with new material and an even stronger live reputation, Fleshwater return to Australia for what promises to be their biggest local shows yet.

Anyone who has spent time with their music knows this will not just be another loud night in a venue. Fleshwater have the kind of sound that can fill a room with atmosphere before turning around and hitting with enough force to shake the floor.

Joining them on every date are Ingrown, whose self described mix of dirt bike riding, hell raising hardcore has quickly made them one of the most dangerous and uncompromising names in American heavy music.

The Idaho crew bring a very different kind of intensity to the tour. Where Fleshwater can pull listeners into waves of emotion and atmosphere, Ingrown hit with blunt force aggression, riffs, attitude and the kind of live energy that can turn a room inside out.

Their latest album, Idaho, delivers a relentless barrage of hardcore violence and raw personality, making them a perfect addition to a lineup built around contrasting forms of heaviness.

Opening the Australian dates are Sydney’s Secret World, a band whose combination of hardcore fury and rock and roll swagger has marked them as one of the most exciting emerging acts in the country.

Secret World bring movement, attitude and that unpredictable live spark that makes an opening set feel like much more than a warm up. Their inclusion also gives the tour a strong local connection, placing one of Australia’s rising heavy acts alongside two American bands currently building serious international momentum.

This is a lineup that works because every band brings something different.

Fleshwater deliver the emotion, atmosphere and crushing alternative weight. Ingrown bring the danger and straight ahead hardcore impact. Secret World arrive with the swagger and local fire.

Together, they make this one of the most interesting heavy tour packages heading through Australia in 2026.
