Melbourne was called to witness The Reckoning on Thursday June 25 as Vindicta descended on Max Watts for the second stop of their inaugural Australian tour. Presented by Hardline Media, the night also brought New Zealand metal force Bulletbelt across the Tasman for a bill built on power, theatre and unapologetic heavy music.
Bulletbelt have continued to build serious momentum throughout Australia and New Zealand, and their place on the Melbourne show made perfect sense. They brought the fire early and gave the room a crushing opening before Vindicta took command of the stage.
Vindicta then carried the crowd through a set featuring Forbidden Zone, Made Her Mine, Carnal Liberation, Feel the Zeal, Free Yourself, Like a Prayer, Father I Have Sinned, Dark Messiah, Pleasure From Pain and the closing strike of The Face of the Clown.
This was more than the arrival of another touring band. It was the beginning of a new chapter for Vindicta, shaped by creative freedom, experience and ambition, with Melbourne getting an early look at what that future now holds.
