Don Broco Push Boundaries on New Album Nightmare Tripping Out Now

Few bands in modern heavy music move the goalposts quite like Don Broco.

Blending elements of metal, post-hardcore, funk, and electronic music into something entirely their own, the UK outfit have built a reputation on unpredictability and evolution. Now, they take that even further with their new album Nightmare Tripping, out now via Fearless Records.

Heavier, Bolder, Unfiltered

Crafted alongside longtime collaborator Dan Lancaster, Nightmare Tripping sees Don Broco embracing their heaviest and most layered work to date.

The album is not just about sound.
It is about perspective.

Each track moves through a different emotional and sonic space, from the sharp nu metal edge of earlier singles to more atmospheric and electronic driven moments, all while maintaining the band’s signature unpredictability.

A Message That Hits Hard

At the centre of the album’s release is “True Believers,” a high impact collaboration with Sam Carter of Architects.

The track balances explosive energy with a deeper message, tackling the rise of far right nationalism and the idea of societal conditioning.

Frontman Rob Damiani explains the inspiration behind the track.

“This song is about questioning what we have been brought up believing and the narratives that have been reinforced for generations.”

Driven by Carter’s signature intensity and Damiani’s dynamic vocal delivery, the track builds from tension into a crushing breakdown, delivering both impact and substance.

A Record Built on Evolution

Nightmare Tripping continues Don Broco’s tradition of refusing to stay in one lane.

From the swagger of earlier singles to the emotional pull of tracks like Disappear and the euphoric energy of Euphoria, the album feels like a journey through contrasting states of mind.

It is chaotic.
It is deliberate.
And it is unmistakably Don Broco.

The album also features standout collaborations with members of Nickelback, adding yet another dimension to an already expansive record.

No Limits

Since forming in 2008, Don Broco have consistently pushed beyond expectations.

From selling out arenas in the UK to dominating major festival stages and touring alongside some of the biggest names in heavy music, the band have built a reputation that goes far beyond genre labels.

With Nightmare Tripping, that evolution continues.

“For us, this album is about coming to terms with a new understanding of how to navigate the world,” the band share.

It is about embracing uncertainty.
Facing reality.
And finding a way through it.

The Live Experience

With the album now out in the world, Don Broco are preparing to bring Nightmare Tripping to the stage.

From UK release shows to major festival appearances including Rock Im Ring and Rock For People, and a massive show alongside Biffy Clyro in London, the band are set to deliver the album where it thrives most.

Live.
