Alt metal outfit BLVD OF EYES are making a bold statement with their latest release We Are Human, a track that hits just as hard emotionally as it does sonically.
Blending industrial grit with soaring melodic hooks, the band deliver a sound that feels both raw and anthemic. But beyond the music itself, We Are Human stands as something deeper. It is a reflection of identity, connection and the irreplaceable nature of human expression in an increasingly digital world.
At the core of the release is its striking music video, which moves beyond a traditional performance format. Instead, it brings together a global community through a collection of fan submitted images, creating a visual tapestry that captures real faces, real lives and real stories from around the world.
This sense of connection is further amplified with explosive live footage taken from the band’s recent Australian tour, showcasing the energy and intensity that BLVD OF EYES bring to the stage.
Speaking on the track, the band explain:
“We Are Human is a driving, anthemic track built around the core message that the creative imperfections, emotional grit and tangible effort of humanity are irreplaceable, even as AI integration dominates the world. It is not a dystopian warning, but a defiant celebration of the beautiful flaws that define life.”
That message rings loud and clear throughout the track. There is a sense of urgency in the instrumentation, paired with a defiant emotional core that refuses to be drowned out by the noise of modern technology.
Leading the charge is Chloe Trujillo, whose fearless and eclectic creative vision continues to shape the identity of the band. Alongside co founder Mark Dalbeth, the New Zealand born multi instrumentalist known for his work with Bellusira, the project pushes boundaries by fusing rap, metal, blues and global influences into something uniquely their own.
Rounded out by guitarist Kevin Hicklin and Brazilian drummer Marcelo Moreira, BLVD OF EYES have quickly established themselves as a band unafraid to experiment while staying grounded in authenticity.
With We Are Human, they are not just releasing another track. They are reinforcing a message that feels more relevant than ever. In a world increasingly shaped by artificial systems and digital noise, BLVD OF EYES remind us that imperfection is not weakness. It is what makes us real.
