Superheist Raise Hell Tour

Superheist Raise Hell tour live show review June 17th Fowlers Live, Adelaide, South Australia

Currently Superheist are on their Raise Hell tour with special guests Dreadnaught and Frankenbok. And I got the chance to see these three stalwarts of the Australian Metal scene at Fowlers Live in Adelaide on Friday. I have been listening to these bands since around 2000 and absolutely love the music these three bands produce. There was also three supports from south oz Terminal Zero, Suffer The Evenue and Born Of Dust.

The first band to start the night was Terminal Zero from my local area the Riverland SA and these guys have a real catchy rock-metal sound.

Next band was Suffer The Evenue and this was the first time I had heard these guys and I must say I was impressed with a sound which sounds heavily influenced by bands like Lamb Of God.

The last support from South Oz was Born Of Dust this was the second time seeing these guys also seeing them at Heavy SA a couple of months ago as they did then they tore it up was a great set.

Dreadnaught were up next and although I’ve been listening to these guys since the Down To Zero album it was the first time seeing these guys and I tell ya what I had a blast front row centre screaming along. These guys have a new album out at the moment called Caught the Vultures Sleeping check it out you won’t be disappointed.

Frankenbok followed up the carnage for the night and the singer they got on the mic now Daniel White was really good and had a great stage presence whipping the crowd into action at one point he jumped the barrier and had a mosh out with me in the front row. Expect some new music out from these guys soon with them playing a killer new track on the night.

Superheist came to Raise Hell and that they did, I have been to a few shows at Fowlers and to see the way they played to the crowd was a testament to how good this band is. The charisma and presence of Ezekial Ox was so cool to watch, with him really playing up to the crowd at point singing in the pit or when he was up on a barrel with the crowd doing a circle pit around him awesome to see. DW Norton the man behind Superheist and an amazing producer smashed it on guitars with Keir Gotcher. John Sankey on drums this guy is hands down one of the best drummers going having already played with some great bands. And can’t forget Simmo Durrant this guy is majestic when it comes to rocking out on the bass and also a really nice bloke. Jason North from Truth Corroded even came out and sang a song with Superheist that f__ing kicked ass really cool.

It was an amazing night one of the best shows I have been to and if you are able to catch the Raise Hell tour still to play the dates below you should definitely go and see these three absolute legends of the Australian Metal Scene. RAISE HELL
