ANTI-SAPIEN formed in Brooklyn in 2021, starting as a loose pandemic side-project built on the simple idea of blowing off steam with filthy death-crust riffs, D-beat grime, grind bursts, and classic NY slam nastiness. The shock wasn’t that the riffs hit. The shock was how quickly people connected with the honesty behind them.
They’d finish a song, wipe the sweat off, and speak openly about exploitation, inequality, and the machinery crushing ordinary people. Kids lined up for that honesty as much as the blastbeats.
That spark pushed the band to sharpen everything.

Since then they’ve torn across the U.S., Australia, Korea, and Japan, growing their reputation the old-school way: fast sets, filthy tones, and zero fear in calling out the power structures that don’t want to be named.
