New Single “Feet & Greet” Drops With Amaranthe’s Mikael Sehlin + Massive 2026 European Tour Incoming

Italy’s supreme overlords of parody metal, NANOWAR OF STEEL, are back at it—and this time, they are marching into battle with Mongolian boots, industrial beats, feet puns by the truckload, and one of the most gloriously ridiculous EP titles ever printed on a Napalm Records release.
Set to stomp into the world on January 7, 2026, The Genghis Khan EP to End All Genghis Khan EPs marks the band’s return to pure, unfiltered NANOWAR madness—loaded with genre-juggling brilliance, full-throttle humour, and a very real ability to write hooks that stick harder than superglue on a hot day.
And to kick off this new era, the band has dropped the first single, “Feet & Greet”, featuring Mikael Sehlin (Amaranthe) belting, roaring, and toe-curling his way through a track that celebrates the most underrated body part in metal: your feet.
“Feet & Greet” – A Foot-Soldier Anthem Nobody Asked For, But Everyone Needed
Only NANOWAR OF STEEL could take industrial metal, a nursery rhyme growl, and a full suite of cheesy foot jokes—and make it catchy enough to lodge itself in your brain for weeks.
Built on pounding rhythms and Sehlin’s blistering guest screams, “Feet & Greet” is a soundtrack for an entirely new kind of VIP experience: toe-based bonding.
In their own words:
“We always thought feet in the metal scene were underrated, and VIP meet & greet tickets overrated. So to make things even we combined both things… We all wish you can sing along with him how many toes your feet have!”
You have to respect the commitment.
A Real “Feet & Greet” VIP Experience (Yes, Really)
To celebrate the release, NANOWAR OF STEEL are hitting the road with Mongolian rock force Uuhai, launching a 27-date run across Europe beginning January 9, 2026.
And because no NANOWAR tour is complete without absolute chaos, fans can actually sign up for a real-life “Feet & Greet” VIP event.
Two tiers are available:
- Cradle of Feet
- 70,000 Tons of Emmental (includes a physical copy of the new EP)
Whether you’re ready to lock toes or just want to witness the weirdness from a comfortable distance, this is one for the books.
Inside the EP: Mongolian History, Cheese, Satellites & Programming Languages
The four-track EP is classic NANOWAR OF STEEL: equal parts absurd, clever, and musically tight enough to make serious bands jealous.
Tracklist:
- Genghis Khan (The Genghis Khan Song to End All Genghis Khan Songs)
- Feet & Greet
- IRIDE
- Kotlin
From collaborations with Enrico di Lorenzo (Hideous Divinity) to sharp jabs at historical metal tropes, to a track celebrating satellite imaging (“IRIDE”) and a song about JVM languages (“Kotlin”), the band proves once again that no topic is too bizarre, and no genre too sacred.
NANOWAR OF STEEL say:
“The Genghis Khan EP to End all Genghis Khan EPs is an EP dedicated to an historical figure that no one ever wrote songs about… except Sabaton, Warkings, The Hu, Avantasia, Uuhai, Cavalera Conspiracy, and Iron Maiden…”
If there’s one thing NANOWAR does better than anyone else, it’s making fun of the entire metal ecosystem while still absolutely ripping.
Limited Tour Edition Physical Release
Collectors, be warned:
The physical EP will only be available at merch tables across Europe, making this a must-have for die-hard fans, foot appreciators, and anyone wanting to own one of the funniest EP titles of the decade.
