What’s going on RiffKeeper! I’m Brenden “BodyBag” and I’m stoked to be jumping on board with the Crannk crew.
I’ve been part of the Adelaide music scene for a long time, cutting my teeth back in the mid-2000s with bands like pop-punk outfit Wishlist, which later evolved into post-hardcore project Enola’s Secret, and having the opportunity to be apart of metalcore powerhouse Deception Bay.
The Adelaide heavy scene has always been home for me. I’ve been lucky enough to travel across Australia playing shows, grinding it out in practice rooms and recording studios, and sharing riffs with the hardcore and metal community.
These days I’m back in the thick of it with my current band, Those Left Behind, and more fired up than ever to stay connected to the heavy scene that has given me so much. Music has always been my world—it’s where I feel free, surrounded by like-minded people, and constantly inspired by heavy riffs and raw energy.
Joining the Crannk family is my chance to give back, to support the scene I grew up in, and to share my passion for music with you all. Expect reviews, features, and plenty of heavy content coming your way.
