I’m Jaiden, commonly known as ‘Jinx’, I represent the freaks of the scene – I’m known for being too loud, too weird, and too opinionated. I’ve jinxed myself so many times I consider myself to be a bad omen; but beyond spotlighting hidden gem bands, screaming over new releases and crying over bands breaking up, I’m a professional extreme horror artist. I sit at my work station drawing my friends and their pets as zombies devouring their mortal enemies; however in a more normal situation… You’ll find me chatting to our local bands after their sets most likely asking for their picks, set lists and broken bass strings (thank you Fangz) or at the bar talking about Type O Negative.
I was born and raised into the underground scene, because of this, metal is all I know. I have traveled all around Australia finding the dingiest bars and niche bands to follow suit. I spend my entire paycheck to see live music – I will never change this way of life. I have seen so many live acts and still have a laundry list of names I need to watch perform. I have an intense passion for art of all kinds and an even stronger passion to keep our underground scene alive and thriving.
