In the year 2013 I discovered, for me, a new band. They’re called Dawnbringer, a band from the US. Right then, I had just heard their latest album “Into the Lair of the Sun God”, and for me it was a bit of fresh air and a wake-up-call. The music reminded of a mixture of Iron Maiden and Motörhead, but with a fresh sound and a own type of sound. The songs were not that fast as you could think if you listen to Maiden or Motörhead, but the sound…
Imagine my surprise when I learned that I totally missed the new release, already in 2014! This time, with a Black Sabbath-sound! J And again, in their own way. And without that indolent sound of the seventies…
Damn, this is a band that tickles my curiosity and growing stronger and stronger! So damn fun with bands that actually makes an effort and doesn’t sound like every other band out there! A bit like Monster Magnet in the days! 🙂

År 2013 upptäckte jag ett, för mig, nytt band. De heter Dawnbringer, ett band från USA. Då hade jag bara hört deras senaste album “Into the Lair of the Sun God”, och det var för mig en riktigt frisk fläkt och uppvaknande. Musiken påminde om en blandning mellan Iron Maiden och Motörhead, men med en egen touch och ett fräsch sound. Låtarna i sig var väl inte så pass snabba som man kan förknippa med Maiden och Motörehead direkt, men soundet….
Döm om min förvåning när jag upptäckte att jag helt missat att bandet släppt en ny skiva redan 2014! Denna gång med vibbar av Black Sabbath! 🙂 Återigen, på sitt eget sätt. Utan den här sävliga 70-tals soundet. Fasen, det här ett band som väcker min nyfikenhet mer och mer och växer sig starkare och starkare! Så jäkla kul med några som faktiskt sticker ut och inte låter som alla andra idag! Lite som Monster Magnet på den tiden det begav sig! 🙂
