With over 10 million records sold and 21 gold and platinum certifications to their name, HELLOWEEN are a cornerstone of European metal. Mixed at the prestigious Wisseloord Studios in the Netherlands (home to work from IRON MAIDEN, JUDAS PRIEST, DEF LEPPARD), Giants & Monsters is set to be a monumental entry into their already-iconic discography.

🇯🇵 FIRST SINGLE & VIDEO: ‘This Is Tokyo’

Leading the charge is the album’s electrifying first single, ‘This Is Tokyo’ — a four-minute stadium-ready anthem that pays tribute to Japan’s enduring influence on the band and particularly vocalist Andi Deris, who shares:

I’ve always wanted to write this song. Japan plays a special role in my life because I had my first big successes there. I wanted to create a tribute for a while now and finally found the right lyrics. Because ‘Tokyo’ sounds better than ‘Japan,’ the city stands for a whole country that is very important to me.

The single features a powerhouse performance from both Andi Deris and Michael Kiske, combining their vocal strengths for a track packed with punch, melody, and a chorus destined for live sing-alongs.
