First off in Sweden we have the legendary Entombed who released “Clandestine Live” on the 17th,not to be out done Sweden’s favourite Viking sons Amon Amarth released “Berserker” at the start of may.
In thrash we have the Bay Area Thrashers Death Angel releasing the highly anticipated new album ‘Humanicide” also Vader are releasing an Ep “Thy Messenger” both Death Angel and Vader Releases will be available through Nuclear Blast Record on the 31st of May.
Over in Death metal we have releases from death metal pioneers Possessed who have handcrafted in hell their first album in over 3 decades “Revelations of Oblivion” and unleashed it upon the world on May 10. Nuclear Blast Records
Fleshgod Apocalypse are set to drop the new album “Veleno” on the 24th.
Over in the UK we have two amazing bands that dropped albums at the start of May first was Deathcore lads Osiah with the “Kingdom Of Lies” album released through Unique Leader Records. Also Employed To Serve with the brutally amazing album “Eternal Forward Motion“.
Ripping out of Gatineau, Canada, Fractures & Outlines are a post-hardcore band and their album Defenseless” released on May 17 is full

Out Of Canada we have Montreal’s thrash / power metal band Thrash La Reine and their sophmore album “La Foi, La Loi, La Croix” out on May 31st. The EP is also all in French and lyrically references historic events in Quebec over the centuries. Example their Maiden-esque single “Du Sang Sur Les Plaines” is a historical song about the Battle of the Plains of Abraham in Quebec City during 1759 and is structured in a narrative way.
