Hailing from New Zealand hard-rocking heavyweights Villainy recently won Best Rock Album for “Raised In The Dark” at the recent New Zealand Music Awards, which made it three for three with Villainy having also received best rock album nods for “Mode Set Clear” in 2012 and the follow up “Dead Sight” in 2016. Which really is an amazing achievement for any band to get and one the band was very proud to receive.
Villainy are set to round out this massively huge year for the band with a bang first returning to Australia for a run of shows in December supporting Halestorm then heading home to New Zealand for some huge shows with masters of sludge Beastwars. Last week Jai caught up with Lead Guitarist Thom Watts and Vocalist/guitarist Neil Fraser for a phone chat about Villainy and the upcoming tour. I’ll also put all Villainy related links at the bottom so be sure to catch them on tour or stock up on shiny awesome Villainy merch for the xmas stocking.
Tickets for the Halestorm with Villainy are available from mjrpresents.com or halestormrocks.com
