One of my favourite ska bands ever is The Resignators from Victoria, Australia, a seven headed brash and boisterous ska punk monster, featuring blistering guitar, thumping bass, melodious keyboards, driving drums and a military like horn section, ready to attack, putting a bomb under the relatively easy, feel-good vibes that are often spun in the genre, with their punk-inflected ska. The band released a new single Talisman today and with the biggest event in Australia’s ska community getting closer, I thought it was the perfect time for an interview. I’m pleased to say the whole band took part in the interview, I love it when a band gives its all for a fan, it made my day.
