Since their inception in 2015 with the self-produced Ep”A Thousand Days” Brisbane based Wildheart have been busy playing up and down the east coast of Australia wowing audiences with their powerful heartfelt songs and performances. Wildheart’s lyrics touch on issues dealing with oppression, depression, anxiety, and racism. Wildhearts Ep “We Are” released in August of 2018 seen the Ep peak at #2 on the Itunes Metal Charts and #39 on the overall Itunes charts. “Rising Tide” is the latest single and follows on from some of the themes and issues touched on in the D.O.A single released in 2017. “Rising Tide” features guest vocals from fellow Yugambeh/Bundjalung man Shaun Allen of Nerve Damage and talks about those that have had their homes, their children and their rights taken away, the continuous mistreatment by government and law enforcement, the growing number of incarcerations and Aboriginal death’s, and the ongoing racist rhetoric that has plagued the first nations people.
