Salt Lake City’s own Allbrook Station are not here to play it safe. In just over a year since forming in 2024, the band has carved out a sound that’s as explosive as it is emotional—melding high-octane rock energy, modern hip-hop textures, and raw storytelling into something unmistakably their own. Known for their cinematic production and anthemic live shows, Allbrook Station are proving they’re one of the most exciting new acts shaping the next wave of rock.
Fronted by Burke Louis (vocals/guitar), alongside Jessie Gomez (bass), Nate Smeding (drums), Randy Slaugh (producer/guitar), and the turntable wizardry of DJ Frank Zoo, the group brings chaos and clarity together in a way that hits as hard as it heals. Their songs are bold, defiant, and unapologetically real—an approach that’s resonating with a fast-growing fanbase and catching the attention of the industry alike.
The Rise So Far
Allbrook Station’s journey kicked off with their 2024 debut single “Chimerical”, which quickly landed on Apple Music’s New in Rock playlist and racked up hundreds of thousands of streams. Their momentum only grew stronger with follow-up singles that showcased their fearless ability to bend genres and push emotional boundaries.
Now, the band is turning heads once again with their latest release, “Sharpshooter”—available now on all streaming platforms via SAMSA/Create Music Group. Written during a moment of clarity following a toxic breakup, Burke Louis describes the song as the point where he stopped romanticizing the past and reclaimed his future.
“By the time I finished this song, I didn’t care who they were with now or what version of themselves they were trying to be,” Burke explains. “‘Sharpshooter’ is just me finally saying—you weren’t worth my time then, you’re certainly not worth my future now.”
Musically, the track is a fiery statement of intent—genre-blurring yet focused, sharp-edged yet emotionally resonant, setting the tone for their highly anticipated debut album All We Have Is Pain, due out in 2026.
Talking With Burke Louis & DJ Frank Zoo
To dig deeper into the heart of Allbrook Station, I sat down for a video interview with frontman Burke Louis and DJ Frank Zoo, joined by my co-host Jim Taylor. We talked about the band’s formation, their influences, and the personal stories that fuel their music. Burke opened up about the writing process behind each of their singles so far, while Frank Zoo shared insights into the turntable and production elements that give Allbrook Station their cinematic edge.
The conversation wasn’t just about the heavy stuff—we also had some fun with a quickfire round of questions, covering everything from guilty pleasure tracks to dream collaborations, peeling back the curtain on the personalities behind the music.
What’s Next for Allbrook Station
With eyes locked on the future, Allbrook Station are building toward All We Have Is Pain—an album set to prove that their early success was no fluke. If “Chimerical” was the spark and “Sharpshooter” the ignition, then this full-length promises to be the firestorm that cements their place in modern rock’s evolving landscape.
One thing is clear: Allbrook Station aren’t just making songs, they’re crafting anthems for anyone who’s ever loved hard, lost harder, and found the strength to rise again.
