Newcastle Prog Metal/Hard Rock band Age Of Emergence are set to drop their second Ep “The War Within Ourselves” next week March 27th.
Formed in 2013 by ex-Shambhala members Dean Holmes, Allan Hofer, and Order Of The Dragon Guitarist Matt Nielson. (The current line-up though now has the talented Ben Baxter on the skins as Allan has left the band.) Age Of Emergence released their debut Ep ” A Plea For A Dying World” in 2017 and spent time developing their sound and after releasing two singles “Your Kingdom Dies” and “Stone Cold Icarus” Age Of Emergence are ready to unleash “The War Within Ourselves” upon the world.
Jai from Crannk recently caught up with Dean Holmes (Vocals/Bass) and Matt Nielson (Guitarist) to talk about the latest EP “The War Within Ourselves”, the local scene, all things Age Of Emergence, and how the current state of affairs are affecting things for the music industry.
