CORY MARKS Releases Video For Title Track Off His Album “Sorry For Nothing”

Cory Marks is a Canadian country rock singer-songwriter better known by his stage name, Cory Marks. He is signed to Better Noise Music.

Marks grew up in North Bay, Ontario, where he developed a love for both country and rock music. Influenced by artists like Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Ozzy Osbourne, and Rush, he began playing drums at the age of ten and later picked up the guitar.

His music career took off when he performed at a local bar during college, encouraged by his friends. He released his debut album, “This Man,” in 2015 under Big Star Recordings. In 2020, he signed with Better Noise Music and released his second album, “Who I Am,” which featured the hit single “Outlaws & Outsiders” with Ivan Moody, Travis Tritt, and Mick Mars.

Marks continues to blend country music with hard rock, creating autobiographical storytelling, guitar-driven anthems, and drinking songs. His most recent album, “Sorry for Nothing,” was released in 2024, Produced by longtime collaborators Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, Five Finger Death Punch, Shania Twain, Papa Roach), Kile Odell (Nita Strauss, David Draiman), and Andrew Baylis (Jelly Roll, Brantley Gilbert), SORRY FOR NOTHING’s 13 songs range from Haggard-like country and virtual bluegrass to straight-up arena rock anthems, Eagles-like acoustic country-folk, and almost “Pantera”-like hard metal.
