Australia’s fastest-growing rock label, XMusic, has made a bold leap onto the global stage with their first international signing — rock powerhouse BLVD OF EYES. Fronted by the magnetic Chloe Trujillo (artist, musician, and wife of Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo) and New Zealand-born multi-instrumentalist Mark Dalbeth (formerly of Bellusira), the band has unleashed their fierce new single “Razor Steps” and announced an explosive Australian tour set for November 2025.
A Sonic Statement of Resilience
Formed in 2021, BLVD OF EYES is the collision point of Chloe’s fearless, genre-defying artistry — blending rap, metal, gypsy, and blues — and Dalbeth’s seasoned rock pedigree. Their latest single, Razor Steps, is a bold declaration of power and perseverance.
“This song is about resilience and inner strength in the face of challenges every day life brings. Razor Steps symbolizes moving forward even when the path is dangerous, painful, or risky. Despite battling internal and external darkness, the protagonist refuses to let it define her. It’s all about freedom from fear.” — Chloe Trujillo
Opening with ethereal vocals before detonating into a staccato riff built for the stage, Razor Steps is a track that straddles melody and raw force — the perfect first strike for BLVD OF EYES under the XMusic banner.
