Annalynn Reignite With “BIOS”: A Crushing New Chapter of Resilience and Renewal

Thailand’s metalcore heavyweights Annalynn return with a blistering new single, “BIOS”, out now via Greyscale Records — a sonic reset that marks both a rebirth and a reckoning for one of Asia’s most powerful modern heavy acts.

A cathartic and crushing re-introduction to the next chapter of Annalynn, “BIOS” explores the human soul’s journey from birth to death — through the chaos, the fear, and the fragile beauty that defines existence. Rather than treating pain and uncertainty as barriers, the track reframes them as fuel for transformation and growth.

“Our band is starting to reset and work through the challenges caused by the unexpected bad news that many of you may know,” the band shared. “We have now come to a definitive conclusion by having Pob (Nuttapop Chuensuktananun), our guitarist, take over as the full-time vocalist. Even though there are now only four of us, we will continue to move forward to reach our original goals.”

Produced, mixed, and mastered by Lance Prenc (Alpha Wolf, Polaris, Void of Vision), “BIOS” is both emotionally raw and technically razor-sharp — a testament to Annalynn’s resilience and refusal to fade away. Its gloomy, atmospheric edge, paired with Pob’s visceral vocal delivery, carves a soundscape that’s equal parts introspective and devastating.

Operating now as a four-piece, Annalynn are:

  • Nuttapop “Pob” Chuensuktananun – vocals & guitars
  • Supatchaya Sompong – guitars
  • Eakaratch Kaewsomdej – bass
  • Nattabhol Larp-Ar-Parat – drums

Formed in Bangkok in 2003, Annalynn have long been a driving force in Asian metalcore, building a massive following across the region and beyond. The band have shared stages with While She Sleeps and Bring Me The Horizon, and in 2024 embarked on their first Australian tour with Void Of Vision, Like Moths To Flames, and Varials.

Their 2024 EP “Failure Will Find Me”, also released through Greyscale Records, was hailed as one of the scene’s most emotionally resonant offerings, with the title track earning a spot among Metal Hammer’s Tracks Of The Week. With “BIOS,” Annalynn continue that upward trajectory — turning heartbreak and upheaval into something defiantly alive.

The band are also set to perform at Rock Alarm Festival 2026 in Thailand on Valentine’s Day (February 14th), joining a colossal lineup that includes Underoath, The Devil Wears Prada, Saosin, and Suicide Silence.

“BIOS” isn’t just a song — it’s a mission statement. A declaration that even when life fractures and fades, art, passion, and purpose endure.
