ANGEL DU$T DROP NEW SINGLE “DU$T” AND CRANK THE HEAT AHEAD OF COLD 2 THE TOUCH

Angel Du$t aren’t slowing down… not for you, not for me, not for anyone. The Baltimore genre-twisters have kicked the door in once again with their brand-new single “DU$T”, another explosive taste of their upcoming album Cold 2 The Touch, arriving Friday, February 13 via Run For Cover Records/Civilians.

And if “DU$T” is any indication, Angel Du$t are gearing up for one of the most dangerously fun records of 2026.

“DU$T” — A Wild Swing Between Vulnerability and Violence

One thing Angel Du$t have always done better than nearly everyone in the game is push the boundaries of what hardcore-rooted rock can be — and “DU$T” is the perfect showcase of that weaponised unpredictability.

The track opens on something almost tender: warm acoustic guitars, a hazy atmosphere, and Justice Tripp delivering a vocal that sits somewhere between yearning and daring you to blink first.

But then?

Blast beats.
Blown-out guitars.
A breakdown that hits like a car crash and somehow still grooves hard enough to shake the floorboards loose.

Angel Du$t don’t follow rules. They jump genres like fences, but never at the expense of authenticity. “DU$T” proves the band can go hard, soft, weird, wild, melodic, or murderous — sometimes all in the same 30 seconds — and still sound unmistakably like themselves.

COLD 2 THE TOUCH — 26 Minutes of No-Brakes Rock & Roll

Cold 2 The Touch is coming in at a tight 26 minutes — but Angel Du$t don’t need long runtimes to burn the place down.

The album sees the band reuniting with legendary producer Brian McTernan (Turnstile, Converge, Bane, Balance & Composure), bringing things full circle back to the energy and ethos that shaped their earliest work.

The crew has also expanded with new members Nick Lewis and Jim Carroll, both veterans from iconic hardcore outfits American Nightmare, Suicide File, and The Hope Conspiracy.
That alone would turn heads… but Angel Du$t decided to go all in.

This record is stacked with guest appearances from across the hardcore universe, including:

  • Scott Vogel (Terror)
  • Wes Eisold (American Nightmare, Cold Cave)
  • Patrick Cozens (Restraining Order)
  • Frank Carter
  • Taylor Young (Twitching Tongues, Deadbody)

What we’re getting is Angel Du$t at their most ferocious, most fully realised, and arguably their most fearless since the early days.

“This is who I am…” — Justice Tripp Means Every Word

Justice Tripp puts it plain and simple:

“This is who I am… we’re always going to be playing aggressive rock & roll. It’s happening whether you like it or not. I’m me, and if you get in my way I’m gonna crush you.”

There’s no pose here. No trend-chasing.
Angel Du$t exist in a lane they carved out themselves—equal parts reckless swagger, heartfelt melody, and hardcore soul.

A Year Set to Explode: New Album + North American Tour

Alongside the announcement of Cold 2 The Touch, Angel Du$t are gearing up for a massive North American tour, ready to drag this new era straight onto stages and slam floors across the continent.

Expect speed. Expect sweat. Expect chaos.

And if “DU$T” is anything to go by, expect Angel Du$t to hit harder than they have in years.

DU$T Is Streaming Everywhere Now

Cold 2 The Touch drops Friday, February 13, but you can blast “DU$T” right now on your streaming platform of choice — crank it loud enough to shake the cobwebs off 2025 and kick 2026 into gear.

Angel Du$t?
Still unstoppable.
Still unpredictable.
Still one of the most exciting bands tearing through the modern rock & hardcore landscape.
