Finnish stoner/punk rock outfit Alkemia are preparing to make a thunderous entry onto the scene with their debut Alkemia EP, set for release on October 24th, 2025, via Inverse Records. The band has just dropped the first single, ‘Höyrypää’.
Drawing inspiration from rock legends, Alkemia reveal that ‘Höyrypää’ channels the life of Motörhead’s Lemmy, portraying “a desperate run from death on a steep mountainside.” The band adds, “This is, of course, better than running day after day in a hamster wheel,” hinting at the raw energy and rebellious spirit that defines their sound.
