Following the announcement of their forthcoming album Silver Bleeds the Black Sun…—due October 3rd via Run For Cover Records/Civilians—AFI have unveiled their latest offering, “Holy Visions,” accompanied by a striking performance video directed by Gilbert Trejo. The clip captures the band bathed in glowing pink and blue light, perfectly complementing the ethereal textures of the track.
Silver Bleeds the Black Sun… will mark AFI’s twelfth studio album and includes the previously released single “Behind the Clock,” which also arrived with a Trejo-directed music video. Just last month, AFI appeared on the cover of Alternative Press, where vocalist Davey Havok spoke with Editor-in-Chief Anna Zanes about the band’s enduring legacy, the sonic shifts of the upcoming record, and his personal listening habits.
Speaking about the new video, Havok shares:
