Germany’s reigning kings of unrelenting brutality, NASTY, are finally heading Down Under for their long-overdue debut Australian tour this September 2025, co-headlining alongside Swiss deathcore wrecking crew Paleface Swiss. Presented by The Phoenix AU, this lineup promises chaos, sweat, and walls of death in some of Australia’s most iconic venues.
But that’s not all—NASTY have just dropped a devastating new EP titled Black My Heart via Blood Blast Distribution, a three-track haymaker of sheer hardcore-meets-beatdown fury. The release features two explosive collaborations: “TALK” with Paleface Swiss and “Iron Grip” featuring hardcore titans Terror, delivering a punishing reminder that NASTY aren’t just back—they’re out for blood.
To dig deeper into the riffs, aggression, and intention behind this new chapter, I caught up with Patrick ‘Paddy’ Gajdzik, guitarist and founding member of NASTY. In our exclusive interview, Paddy opens up about the making of Black My Heart, how the “TALK” collab came together, and what it means to finally bring the band’s signature live carnage to Aussie fans.
From the raw metallic stomp of “Iron Grip” to the throat-grabbing bounce of “TALK,” NASTY’s latest release pulls zero punches, blending beatdown brutality with groove-soaked riffs that hit like a crowbar to the chest. Produced with a live energy and street-level honesty, Black My Heart is a defiant call to arms from a band that has never played by anyone’s rules but their own.
NASTY have carved out their place as one of Europe’s most consistent and confrontational heavy bands since forming back in 2004. With a global fanbase and countless tours across continents, this upcoming Australian run marks a new chapter—and one of the most anticipated shows of the heavy calendar this year.
