🔥 BRUCE DICKINSON UNLEASHES ‘GODS OF WAR’ LYRIC VIDEO AHEAD OF REVISITED SOLO CLASSIC 🔥

More Balls To Picasso [Revisited and Reinvented] – Out July 25 via BMG

Metal icon Bruce Dickinson, the legendary voice of Iron Maiden, has just dropped a crushing new lyric video for ‘Gods Of War’, setting the stage for his upcoming reimagined release of his 1994 solo opus More Balls To Picasso — now revisited, re-recorded, remixed, and reinvented for a whole new generation of fans.

The newly unleashed version of Gods Of War brings a deeper, darker edge to the already brooding anthem — enriched with Amazonian indigenous instruments recorded by acclaimed Brazilian composer Antonio Teoli, adding a powerful cultural and atmospheric depth to the track’s message of war, chaos, and consequence.

A Bold New Chapter in Bruce’s Solo Legacy

Back in 1994, at a time when Dickinson had parted ways with Iron Maiden (he would rejoin the band in 1999), he released his second solo album Balls To Picasso, which became a crucial milestone in establishing him as a solo force to be reckoned with.

Featuring standout tracks like Tears Of The Dragon, Shoot All The Clowns, and Laughing In The Hiding Bush, the album was Dickinson’s first collaboration with Roy Z and the Tribe of Gypsies, and though praised at the time, Bruce himself felt there was unfinished business with the original vision of the album.

Now, More Balls To Picasso takes that vision and amplifies it — with remastered mixes, fresh guitar work by Swedish shredder Philip Naslund, a horn section from the Berklee College of Music on Shoot All The Clowns, and even orchestral flourishes by Teoli, breathing new life and dynamics into each track.

“While mixing all my catalogue into Dolby Atmos I had a nagging desire to revisit and reinvent the record. So putting more balls into Balls… was a labour of love,” says Dickinson.

The Full Revisited Album Includes:

  • Completely remixed and remastered versions of original tracks
  • Fresh arrangements, added instrumentation, and updated performances
  • Two previously unreleased live-in-studio versions of Gods Of War and Shoot All The Clowns
  • Available as splatter vinyl double LP and tri-panel digisleeve CD
